MELCO manufactures component parts to fit both Cameron and Oteco shear relief valves. The shear relief valve was designed to protect slush pumps, mud manifolds and other equipment from excessive presssure. The valve is designed to shear a nail and snap open when a preset pressure is exceeded.

MELCO's shear relief valve component parts are made from only the finest materials and meet the requirements of the OEM. MELCO also meets API, ISO and MELCO's own strict Quality Assurance Programs. All materials are supported with material certifications.
